In this resource, children write the beginning sound/ letter of each of the 3 pictures to write a CVC word.
Then they choose the correct picture to match the CVC word they have written.

There are 2 options available for you:
1 –the activity as a laminated card.  Once laminated, the children can use letter tiles (also provided in both upper case and lower case) or magnetic letters to make the word. Children can use a peg or a counter to match/cover the correct picture.
2 –as a worksheet. The children write the word and then colour the correct picture.
