This booklet has been created to have a regular place to journal. The focus is 2 fold – positive/gratitude and reflection to effect change. Each journal page is set up in a 1, 2, 3 frame to help focus on positive things happening. Then there is a section for reflection. The idea here is to reinforce the concept of what I can control vs what I can’t. I can always control my own thoughts, words, actions, behaviour. In this section, write down something that has happened, particularly if it was negative or the outcome was negative and then what could be done differently next time if this same thing happens to me. The space available for this is limited so just a few sentences to 1) note the incident and 2) reflection sentences show they have thought it out.
